Don't want to come off too negative Smitty, but I do think the final result flatters us. Jussi made a fistful of top shelf saves and was certainly Hammer of the Match.
There's no denying Gareth bales "on fire" at the moment Filthy, but I still feel we could have done a better job of being on his case. We should had two men on him and force him to play to his right. Still it was luverly to see Joe Cole bag one, he nearly made another one too !
Here in Brooklyn, NY I had to listen to 'Spurs fan gloat in my face while picking up the boys from school. Clearly EPL frontrunners in this neck of the woods.
Funny you should mention that CP, I was in Brooklyn myself yesterday (Tuesday) and bumped into a Spud at Clark St. station - a nice young lad, with brand spanking DM's on - I showed him my colours and said "After yesterday, I shouldn't really be talking to you".

The fact that we nearly walked away with a point is not to bad a showing, as said though nothing you can take to the bank. Full agreement about Bale though, shoulda shut him down. Just a shame we had to give it up in the dying moments, I think that was settling before it was settled. Fatal with a Bale in the field. Poltergeist or whatever his name is, not a mistake Filth, total disaster. Don't know where he came from but I hope he got a round trip ticket, I'd hate to think he's stuck here. Seems like Bale was our man, but I must say in all honesty, I think you guys in the maroon and parma violet did a stirling job. Well done to you. And no funny business afterwards, not like here in France with the Neo Vichy down in Lyon.
Like a high holiday it wouldn't be a proper loss to Les Patates without a visit from Uncle Chivers and sure nuff he showed. Given the French soft spot for Leeks , I should imagine Gareth Bale is the toast of the Boulevard Tottenham. It was seriously bad news about those fascist dogs down in lyon, I suspect it to be a small ignorant and demented local faction, but we all need to remain vigilant and stand firm in our opposition. We all know where small mobs of morons knocking about innocent people can lead. Vive Le Resistance !
Sorry! I'm way too southern. Mushy peas are a disgrace.....now a plump, pink Saveloy,spurting vinegar(malt) all over a yesterdaynewswoth's of fat but yeilding chips...almost enough to make you want to watch the youth team on a tuesday night.
