What a shift both Payet and "Slick Vic" Moses put in ! And Noble back on that attack too - this is what we want ! I know we weren't 100% Filthy, but we were clear better than The Geordies and as per usual flattery will get you everywhere.
We could beat or lose to anyone anytime, but I think with the mob we've got now and the ability to change tactics we'll be pretty tasty soon. I don't think we played particularly well but well enough. I just like watching a bit of passing and inventiveness. Whether it goes pear shaped or not, this go round we can always do it again, and again.
Notable mentions to Payet of course, if that's a half fit out of practice Moses I'll take him. Lanzini I like a lot even if he's not in the headlines. Everyone else way over par most of the time. I feel good!!!!
Completely agree Smitty, a squad with serious potential and a far cry from last season. No reason, provided the attitude is there, why we can't give everyone a game. We won't beat them all, but on any given day (or weeknight) we might. Got me Chocolate Weetabix ready for tomorrow - C'mon You Irons !
Bumgarner - I think this font t is too small and your getting near-sighted. Mine is also and I can see it spelled each way, like an optical illusion. I think I got it right the first time.
Won't deny the need to use specs Clueless, I still got the hump with it - but what can you do. So should it be BUMGARNER ? If so is that some poor soul's official moniker ? Nothing wrong with Madison, but anything before Bumgamer or Bumganer isn't going to do much damage control is it ?
Back to football - I see Super Slav has got his #2 fellow Croatian Nikola Jercavic (?) a work permit and so we should be seeing him on the bench too. He seems to have been everywhere that Bilic has been so no surprises there - hope he gets on with Dicksy !
A massive ask to expect a win at Citeh, especially with their 5 wins already chalked up, but I am hoping we can at least take away their clean sheet. COME ON YOU IRONS !
