Trials, Tribulations and Triumphs of being 3,473 Miles from Upton Park and West Ham United (Aug 2011 - May 2016)
Maybe not a surprise, but a big disappointment. A lot of no shows, and even after pulling one back, never looked capable of really making a contest. Still all will be forgiven (well it is already) as long as Tuesday sees a fitting farewell.
As things started to go belly up Filthy, I started to get that old familiar feeling. This season has been too much fun to start complaining, but adding 8 games to our Europa League schedule is hardly ideal. But yet again there's The Easy Way, The Hard Way and The West Ham Way. But tonight we need to say goodbye in style and add Man U to this season collection of big time scalps - COME ON YOU IRONS !!!!
Yep, we've got nothing really to bitch about been a way better season than we could expect. Also as we know we could lose to / beat anyone on any given day. I did feel gutted for those that were there for the last saturday game but as has been said and will be said it's the West Ham Way. I feel confident we'll at least put on a show for the last last time today, but I could be wrong. No complaints really though we're gonna be real contenders in a year or two. COYI Onward and upward.
Can't believe the effort won't be there tonight Smitty, I'm expecting a "Loud & Proud" showing from The Boleyn Faithfull and they don't have Fellani, so that must improve our chances. I wonder what tickets are going for, or if there's even that many on the market ? Bound to be a few snides though.
Oh the effort will be there and whatever happens they don't owe us owt.Tickets would be at least an arm and a leg, possibly more, and I'm sure those with money issues will be in a turmoil, $ or the emotional charge.
Well hats off to the many that do have money issues that have decided to go - The Tonza Money Essex Boys can wait for first game at The Olympic. And you're right Smitty, we've had our "bob's worth" this season, still a cherry on the top we keep things festive. COME On You IRONS !!!!
